About me
Jackie is a Physical Education and Wellness consultant with Edmonton Catholic schools. She is an elementary trained teacher who has taught both in Edmonton and internationally. Over a twenty-year career, Jackie has taught preschool through to grade six. Her greatest pleasure when teaching is helping to facilitate her student’s physical, social, and emotional growth through active movement experiences. Guiding students' growth in outdoor environments has shaped Jackie into the educator she is today, making teaching and learning outdoors her passion! When she is not working, she can be found enjoying time with her family or reading a good book!
